GAME/LEVEL OVERVIEW
Velociball is a fast-paced action sports game that is a hybrid of basketball and soccer with jetpacks. In the game, players use their jetpack to navigate a multitier arena and score points by levitating a ball with their mind, and then throwing that ball into various sizes of goals. The game rewards accuracy and skill by awarding more points for smaller harder to score targets and fewer points for larger targets. The arena’s simple design allows a greater amount of focus on the mechanics and gameplay for testing. The two mechanics prototyped and tested in the area are jetpack navigation and telekinesis.
